The lower half of the Doodle features a quilt, which spells “Google” across its patchwork.įor grades 6 & 7, we’re treated to a Doodle from Pennsylvania titled “My self love.” This Doodle is particularly evocative in its use of the idea of smell, with the artist sharing how much they “love to make delicious African dishes.” The word “Google” is spelled out in cursive with the steam wafting from the plates. Entitled “Family will always care for you,” the artwork shows a heartfelt moment of peace with four family members sitting together and enjoying their individual hobbies. ![]() Doodle for Google 2022 finalistsįirst up, in the K-3 division, we have a finalist from Maryland who entitled their work “Dreaming of my bright future.” The Doodle shows a child sleeping beneath a fantastical scene that spells out the word “Google” with fish, planets, and more.Ī Doodle from a student in Delaware was chosen to represent grades 4 & 5. Now the judges will pick one of these five Doodles to be showcased on the homepage. The votes have now all been tallied, and the five Doodle for Google finalists have been revealed. Next, Google opened up public voting to pick the best Doodle artwork from each grade range. This year’s theme - “I care for myself by…” - has been a showcase of the ways that each child/teen chooses to recover from the stresses of life.įrom the thousands of submissions, Google’s panel of judges - which this year features Selena Gomez and Juliana Urtubey, 2021’s National Teacher of the Year - picked the best artwork from each US state and territory. XDA also claims these wallpapers will be used to match each color variant of the Pixel 6 Pro. Presumably, these are to match the various colors of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, and should play very nicely with Android 12’s Material You. The 15 total wallpapers mainly focus on yellow, red, green, silver, and purple colors. Each wallpaper apparently comes with the description “Bloom one by one. The plants and flowers featured include Cattleya Orchid, Echeveria ‘Blue Prince,’ Hellebores, Moth Orchid, Persian Lily, and Pincushion Protea. These various wallpapers are based on images taken by photographer Andrew Zuckerman and come in both “light mode” and “dark mode” versions. ![]() Acting as corroboration for these wallpapers is Google’s own marketing push, which has shown these wallpapers in some cases. The theme for Google this year seems to be plants and flowers. The folks over at XDA, pulling from a source who supposedly has the phone in hand, published several wallpapers that will apparently be the default wallpapers on Pixel 6 Pro. ![]() Google always introduces a batch of wallpapers with its new Pixel, and it seems the Pixel 6 series will be no exception, as a fresh leak has just revealed the next batch of new designs.
